RINGKNOCKER Virtual Meetup #38 with Farris ElNasser
The guest speaker at this week’s RINGKNOCKER Virtual Meetup will be Farris ElNasser (USAFA ’91).
Farris began his Air Force career leveraging his Arabic fluency and regional knowledge (his family is from Jordan) as a Middle East intelligence analyst. As a Middle East Foreign Area Officer, Farris led Special Operations aviation advisory missions, diplomatic engagements, and negotiations with foreign military and government officials in over 15 countries throughout the Middle East and Central Asia. Before retiring from the Air Force in 2012, Farris served as Deputy Foreign Policy Advisor to USSOCOM and Military Attaché to the U.S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman.
After leaving the Air Force, Farris founded Lion-Archer LLC, which actively leverages Arab networks to assist US companies seeking access to Middle Eastern markets, with a special emphasis on the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Lion-Archer has cultivated broad networks based on deep personal relationships. The results of these ties are Arab friends, colleagues, and associates who rely on Lion-Archer as their trusted partner to deliver the US goods and services they require.
The Middle East is one of the world’s hottest marketplaces, hidden behind a veil of language and culture that can be difficult to penetrate, even for those of us who have spent years in the region. This week, Farris offers the RINGKNOCKERs a rare peek behind the veil, and a survey of the opportunities that live there.
If you have an interest in doing business with Middle Eastern partners, this is the Meetup to join. DON’T MISS IT!
