This event is already in the can! Check out the After Action Report for a summary of the proceedings and subscribers-only content like resource links, shareable video clips, and the full Meetup video with notes and deep links!
The guest speaker at this week’s RINGKNOCKER Virtual Meetup is Dean Wegner (USMA ’93).
Ever have an idea and dream of starting your own business? Ever wonder what it would be like to sit on the couch at Fox & Friends and have 2M+ people watching? Dean will share the success stories, trials and tribulations, and the incredible journey he has been on since launching Authentically American from a blank sheet of paper 3+ years ago.
Dean was an Engineering Management major and ice hockey player at West Point. After graduating in 1993, Dean attended Rotary Flight School, had a unique opportunity to attend the Army’s special forces Ranger School, and served 7-years active duty. The majority of his business career was spent in business development, marketing, and strategy with Mars Inc. and Procter & Gamble. After moving to Nashville in 2010 with his family (married 26 years, 4 kids, youngest son adopted from Ethiopia), Dean bought his first business in 2012, an 18-year old company which produced dress uniforms for the military.
In July 2017 with the support of four Angel Investors, Dean officially launched Authentically American with a vision “to build an iconic American brand that is truly American made.” As part of the plan to make this vision a reality, Authentically American is an official licensee for ALL of the service academies. On his most recent national TV appearance, Dean had an opportunity to articulate his vision in relation to West Point and Nike on Fox Business.
This week Dean will treat the RINGKNOCKERs to some valuable lessons-learned that apply to any entrepreneur or business leader. DON’T MISS THIS ONE!
